An American Tragedy

Yes, we are getting ready for the biggest tragedy in American history today. A man is getting sworn in not by accomplishment nor experience, but because he is the most "POPULAR" and because he is black. What is wrong with our country. This is the same man that lacked experience, integrity, steadfastness, and had shady connections with terrorist. But, God Bless America, he is the most popular man. I feel as though America has too much dependence on Hollywood. Now we vote for presidents the same way we vote for grammys and oscars, the most popular man wins. Voting for a president in our country should be taken very seriously. When you listen to people say they voted for him because he was black, I say, these people don't deserve the right to vote. We need someone to be in the highest office who has experience, strength, wisdom, and stands on the same principals our great country was founded. Not because of his skin color. We are a forever lost country now. Only bad things can come from this behavior. So, I say all people who see this tragedy coming, prepare. Prepare for the hard times ahead. I won't be one of those dancing in the street when the hell fire comes flying down.

Israel's Fight....Why is it so hard to Understand?

*Moral Clarity in Gaza*by Charles KrauthammerHamas has only one grievance: Israel's very existence./Late Saturday, thousands of Gazans received Arabic-language cell-phonemessages from the Israeli military, urging them to leave homes where militantsmight have stashed weapons. -- Associated Press, Dec. 27/Some geopolitical conflicts are morally complicated. The Israel-Gaza war isnot. It possesses a moral clarity not only rare but excruciating.Israel is so scrupulous about civilian life that, risking the element ofsurprise, it contacts /enemy/ noncombatants in advance to warn them ofapproaching danger. Hamas, which started this conflict with unrelenting rocketand mortar attacks on unarmed Israelis -- 6,464 launched from Gaza in the pastthree years -- deliberately places its weapons in and near the homes of its ownpeople. This has two purposes. First, counting on the moral scrupulousness of Israel,Hamas figures civilian proximity might help protect at least part of itsarsenal. Second, knowing that Israelis have new precision weapons that may allowthem to attack nonetheless, Hamas hopes that inevitable collateral damage -- or,if it is really fortunate, an errant Israeli bomb -- will kill large numbers ofits own people for which, of course, the world will blame Israel. For Hamas, the only thing more prized than dead Jews are dead Palestinians. Thereligion of Jew-murder and self-martyrdom is ubiquitous. And deeply perverse, such as the Hamas TV children's program in which an adorable live-actionPalestinian Mickey Mouse is beaten to death by an Israeli (then replaced by hismore militant cousin, Nahoul the Bee, who vows to continue on Mickey's pathto martyrdom). At war today in Gaza, one combatant is committed to causing the most civilianpain and suffering on both sides. The other combatant is committed to saving asmany lives as possible -- also on both sides. It's a recurring theme. Israelgave similar warnings to Southern Lebanese villagers before attacking Hezbollahin the Lebanon war of 2006. The Israelis did this knowing it would lose for themthe element of surprise and cost the lives of their own soldiers. That is the asymmetry of means between Hamas and Israel. But there is equalclarity regarding the asymmetry of ends. Israel has but a single objective inGaza -- peace: the calm, open, normal relations it offered Gaza when it withdrewin 2005. Doing something never done by the Turkish, British, Egyptian andJordanian rulers of Palestine, the Israelis gave the Palestinians their firstsovereign territory ever in Gaza. What ensued? This is not ancient history. Did the Palestinians begin buildingthe state that is supposedly their great national aim? No. No roads, noindustry, no courts, no civil society at all. The flourishing greenhouses thatIsrael left behind for the Palestinians were destroyed and abandoned. Instead,Gaza's Iranian-sponsored rulers have devoted all their resources to turningit into a terror base -- importing weapons, training terrorists, buildingtunnels with which to kidnap Israelis on the other side. And of course firingrockets unceasingly. The grievance? It cannot be occupation, military control or settlers. They wereall removed in September 2005. There's only one grievance and Hamas is openabout it. Israel's very existence.Nor does Hamas conceal its strategy. Provoke conflict. Wait for the inevitablecivilian casualties. Bring down the world's opprobrium on Israel. Force itinto an untenable cease-fire -- exactly as happened in Lebanon. Then, as inLebanon, rearm, rebuild and mobilize for the next round. Perpetual war. Sinceits raison d'etre is the eradication of Israel, there are only two possibleoutcomes: the defeat of Hamas or the extinction of Israel.Israel's only response is to try to do what it failed to do after the Gazawithdrawal. The unpardonable strategic error of its architect, Ariel Sharon, wasnot the withdrawal itself but the failure to immediately establish a deterrenceregime under which no violence would be tolerated after the removal of any andall Israeli presence -- the ostensible justification for previous Palestinianattacks. Instead, Israel allowed unceasing rocket fire, implicitly acquiescingto a state of active war and indiscriminate terror.Hamas's rejection of an extension of its often-violated six-monthcease-fire (during which the rockets never stopped, just were less frequent)gave Israel a rare opportunity to establish the norm it should have insistedupon three years ago: no rockets, no mortar fire, no kidnapping, no acts of war.As the U.S. government has officially stated: a sustainable and enduringcease-fire. If this fighting ends with anything less than that, Israel will havelost yet another war. The question is whether Israel still retains the nerve --and the moral self-assurance -- to win. My Calling in Life is to Educate

I appreciate anyone who comes here to read and learn. In our great country, America, we have fallen asleep. And while we have been sleeping, the enemy has come in and taken control, Who is the enemy you might wonder? Instead of just telling you, I want to challenge you. Pick up material and start reading. Go to places like http://www.freepressinternational.com/, or http://www.infowars.com/. Learn something, and not just what is posted there. Once you read, or hear something, search for more facts. The facts are America is under attack, and we must fight. Instead of hearing labels like conspiracy therorist, crazy, lunitic, anti-patriotic, find out what people have to say, and think for yourself.....This is what I teach. Turn off the Television set and get educated before it's too late!!! Be an independant thinker. Don't let the government tell you how to think, learn for yourself!!

America's Losing Ground!!!

Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its deaththroes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, 'Where Have All TheLeaders Gone?'.Lee Iacocca Says:'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what'shappening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over acliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can'teven clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead ofgetting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say,'Stay the course.'Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America , not thedamned, 'Titanic'. I'll give you a sound bite: 'Throw all thebums out!'You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, andmaybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this countryanymore. The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys inhandcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq , the Middle East is burning andnobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving 'pom-poms'instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the 'America ' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've hadenough. How about you?I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you'renot outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have. The Biggest'C' is Crisis! (Iacocca elaborates on nine C's of leadership, withcrisis being the first.)Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It'seasy to sit there with your feet up on the desk and talk theory. Or send someoneelse's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down.On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time inour history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of amess, so here's where we stand. We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan forleaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country. We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia , while our once-greatcompanies are getting slaughtered by health care costs.Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are in trouble. Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leadership. But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all theleaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are thepeople of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I maybe a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point.Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making ustake off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo? We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all weknow how to do is react to things that have already happened.Name me one leader who emerged from the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Congresshas yet to spend a single day evaluating the response to the hurricane ordemanding accountability for the decisions that were made in the crucial hoursafter the storm.Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping it doesn't happenagain. Now, that's just crazy. Storms happen. Deal with it. Make a plan.Figure out what you're going to do the next time.Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restoreour competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there couldever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, what are we going to do about it?Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down thedebit, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. Thesilence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at ourcountry and milking the middle class dry.I have news for the gang in Congress. We didn't elect you to sit on yourasses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is being hijacked andour greatness is being replaced with mediocrity. What is everybody so afraid of?That some bonehead on Fox News will call them a name? Give me a break. Whydon't you guys show some spine for a change?Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here.I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - Ibelieve in America . In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of livingthrough some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced someof our worst crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'VietnamWar,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent yearsculminating with 9/11.If I've learned one thing, it's this: 'You don't get anywhereby standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whetherit's building a better car or building a better future for our children, weall have a role to play. That's the challenge I'm raising in this book. It's a "Call to Action" for people who, like me, believe inAmerica '. It's not too late, but it's getting pretty close. Solet's shake off the crap and go to work. Let's tell 'em allwe've had 'enough.'Make your own contribution by sending this to everyone you know and care about. It's our country, folks, and it's our future. Our future is at stake!!

Problems in the Middle East

Problems in the Middle East...
I was reading this article posted on Yahoo on the thousands of people volunteering to become suicide murderers against Israel:
"The hard-liners started signing up volunteers after Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a religious decree Sunday saying anyone killed while defending Palestinians in Gaza against Israeli attacks would be considered a martyr.
The groups claim that more than than 10,000 people throughout Iran have registered as volunteer suicide bombers in the past three days. At a gathering Tuesday in Tehran, hard-liners were distributing registration forms to volunteers.
"How can I remain indifferent while defenseless Palestinians are being butchered," said one volunteer, Ali Reza Takrim Namini, as he filled out the registration form.
Another, Mostafa Babaei, vowed, "I'm willing to sacrifice my blood in support of Islam and in defense of Palestinian Muslims."
The volunteers wore white shrouds symbolizing their willingness to die and headbands with the slogan "Defenders of Gaza" and "Ready for Martyrdom." Most of those registering were members of the Basij militia, a hard-line paramilitary group that has tens of thousands of members and is often involved in drumming up popular fervor against Israel and the West."
As Americans, we have to ask a simple question.....Who the hell started these attacks anyway? People in Israel are being attacked everyday by bombs flying overhead on a daily basis from Gaza. These bombs are hitting innocent people, and Jewish settlements everyday. Does it take a moron to figure out, if you bomb people long enough, they are going to defend themselves? I guess......Iran and Iraq and Palastine are filled with MORONS, because they are saying they want to kill Jews because they are attacking Gaza. What are the jews suppose to do...Line up in the middle of the street and wait to get blown up? Shame on any person, who doesn't find this a tragedy. I was in Israel, I saw the sorrow, the memorials to innocent women and children killed by these bastards. I say...More power to Israel! May those people who think freely from our distorted mainstream media....Stand up and give Israel our support. And for all those MORONS who want to strap on bombs to their bodies, and attack innocent people, may their bombs detonate in their own house!!!!
